Are outside influences like television, school, kid next door affecting your child's eating habits adversely?
That reminds me of a friend from years ago that had two daughters. She never had any "sugary-type-sweets" in the house from the time they were babies. She always had a wide variety of fruit available for them to snack on at any time. They never knew anything else. When they did go to a party or someone's house and were given a piece of cake or a twinkie, they refused to eat - it didn't taste good to them. Interesting, eh? Given all of the outside influences, it can sometimes be frustrating and difficult getting them interested in any other type of kids snacks than the sugary-sweet pre-packaged snacks that are not optimum for their health, forget about the cost of rotten teeth. So how do you get them to be interested in foods that have some small nutritional value?
